Elementary students participate in “The Brain Show”

Sidney Central School elementary students had the chance to participate in The Brain Show on Tuesday morning. 

The interactive trivia show, which is run much like a game show, challenged students with questions about math, English Languae Arts, sports, lunch, art, geography, science, and other topics.

The assemblies were educational, and the questions posed to students were based on the grade levels. Students were chosen randomly from the crowd and each round had three teams of five or six students each. Teams would have to buzz in and answer questions to earn points.

In the last round for each assembly, students were joined by teachers and administrators.

With the equipment brought by The Brain Show, the stage at the Sidney auditorium had the authentic feel of a game show.
