Second grade PE classes cooperate in learning activity

Second grade physical education classes at Sidney Elementary worked on some valuable skills on Tuesday.

Using a parachute, the classes addressed spatial awareness and body management. Using several activities, the classes worked on upper body muscular endurance and cardiovascular endurance, as well as cooperation and accepting personal challenges.

Through it all, the classes had to work together to accomplish the tasks at hand. There was a lot of laughter throughout, allowing the kids to have fun as they learned important lessons.
