Two honored for Salad Days

On April 6, Josh Gray and Kim Corcoran were presented with certificates of achievement from Bassett Healthcare.

Tom Hohensee, of Creating Healthy Schools and Communities, and Carissa Neubert, physician assistant from Bassett’s school-based health center, presented the awards, which were in recognition of Gray and Corcoran’s efforts to become 5210 Healthy Lifestyle Champions through implementation of Salad Days at SES.

The program has positively exposed student palates to healthy food and nutrition, and culinary skills they can use for life.
