Third graders learn from Kopernik Observatory

Staff members from Kopernik Observatory in Vestal visited Sidney Elementary recently, in part on a grant from Acco, to work with third graders.

Students were given lessons in circuitry to find out about inputs and outputs, the order of modules in a circuit, and their affect within a system.

Following the lessons, students had the chance to experiment with how modules would work when combined in different sequences as they combined light sensors and motors.
