With the help of the Sidney Elks Lodge and United, Sidney sixth graders and some members of Sidney Students Against Destructive Decisions had the chance to work with Syracuse-based Team Adventure.

 

The focus for the event was to teach students how to be effective leaders, how to solve problems as a team, and show the power of collaboration when working with and through others. 

 

At the end of the event, students were given drawstring bags, which included literature about positive decision making.
