Sidney Elementary students wear knitted hats donated to SES. 

 

For several years, Sidney resident Janice Phillips has worked and knitted hats and mittens throughout the year and donates them to Sidney Elementary School.

 

Depending on the year, the donations can number from 30-50.

 

Phillips’ late husband, Harvey, graduated from Sidney in 1945. Her daughter, Pam, is part of the Class of 1970. 

 

The hats don’t go to any particular student, rather anyone who needs one.
