Warrior Winter Wonderland event draws good crowd

Despite being rescheduled because of bad weather, the annual Warrior Winter Wonderland event at Sidney Elementary drew more than 150 people this year.

The event, originally scheduled for late January, was moved to late February.

The Warrior Winter Wonderland is designed to provide students and families with a fun and interactive night at school. Attendees participated in a variety of stations, which were fun and educational, throughout the elementary building.

The stations were set up by teachers and staff members to provide hands-on, engaging, and interactive opportunities for families.

Some of the stations included: face painting, making snow globes, designing marshmallow catapults, building challenges with cups or Legos, Mad Libs, smoothie making, and other snow-day themed activities.

Students and their families reported that they had a great time during the annual event.
