Mentors wanted

Catholic Charities is recruiting volunteers for its mentoring program in Delaware County.

Volunteers will act as mentors to at-risk youth ages 7-17. Mentors will be required to meet with his or her youth at least eight (8) hours per month for a minimum of one year.

Mentors will provide support, guidance, and encouragement to youth through participation in one-on-one mentoring outings, as well as group events.

Mentors must be at least 18 years of age, possess a registered and insured vehicle, a current driver’s license, and will also need to pass a screening process.

By acting as a positive, consistent role model, mentors have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a young person.
