More than 200 attend Winter Wonderland event at SES

More than 200 people attended the Sidney Elementary schools Warrior Winter Wonderland, a fun and educational experience for students and families.

Families had the opportunity to visit different classrooms and participate in a variety of educational games. Resource tables, free books, snacks and giveaways were in the cafeteria throughout the night.

The purpose of the event was to have an exciting way for families to interact with school staff and one another.

“We wanted to provide an educational and engaging environment for families to enjoy,” said Samantha Oliver, a school counselor at the elementary school. “The event was a huge success and surpassed our expectations.”

The elementary school is hoping to host a similar event in the spring.
