Sidney golf team wins third straight MAC title

Sidney’s golf team won its third straight Midstate Athletic Conference championship, shooting a 438 to win by 29 strokes at Chenango Valley State Park.

Delhi finished second with a 467 at the eight-team tournament.

Kyle Smith and Stephen Smith led the way for Sidney, each shooting a 13-over 85. Justin McMillan finished with an 86. Trenton Stillman, who was named the MAC MVP, finished with an 89.

McMillan and Kyle Smith were named first-team all-conference. Trevor Dutton and Stephen Smith were named to the second team.

Sidney is 14-0.
