Three teams earn fall scholar-athlete honors
Two Sidney Central School District teams were honored as scholar-athlete teams by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association for the fall sports season.
 
To be recognized as a team, 75 percent or more of the team members must be at or above 90 percent and the overall team GPA had to be at or above 90 percent. 

The teams recognized were field hockey (93.7), girls cross country (91.6), and boys cross country (90.6).

The teams are listed below in alphabetical order (those at 90 or above on the team):

Field hockey (93.7): Bryleigh Beauchat , Sarah Bessett, Kaitlin Bookhout, Dakota Cotten, Olivia DeMott, Hannah Gray, Lilly Hinkley, Karolina Karwowski, Adrienne Paternoster, Makayla Phillips, Tiana Savino, and Haley Smith. 

Girls cross country (91.6): Bryleigh Beauchat, Hilde Savino, Tiana Savino, and Katelyn Stosko. 

Boys cross country (90.6): Noah Artis, Samuel Bagley, Jonathan McNamara, and Glenn Rogers.
