Elementary students have art featured in magazine
Kayleigh Gonzalez, Jacob Lester, Joslyn Irons, and Ian Ayala were selected to have their artwork featured in Kites & Kings.
Four Sidney Central School elementary students have artwork featured in the 42nd edition of Kites & Kings, a creative writing and art publication published by the Catskill Area School Study Council.
The students are Ian Ayala (third grade), Kayleigh Gonzalez (fourth grade), Joslyn Irons (kindergarten) and Jacob Lester (third grade).
Kayleigh and Jacob each had their pieces selected to be two of three on the back cover.
Twenty pieces from Sidney Elementary were submitted to the magazine, and four were selected. Sixteen area schools are featured in the publication.
