The second annual Sidney Central School District/SSADD (Sidney Students Against Destructive Decisions) is set for 2 p.m. Sunday, October 21 at the high school.
The event is run to help raise money for children’s cancer research. Last year, the event raised $4,000.
This year, the 5K will start on Circle Drive near the high school track. The race will end on the track. Please report no later than 1 p.m. as the race will start promptly at 2 p.m.
If you pre-registered for the race, you can pick up your shirt and bib then. You can also register the day of the race and purchase a shirt if you wish to do so.
The race will also be professional timed. Following the race, there is a heated tent, a live band, and food and beverage provided.
