JP Dewey has been selected as Sidney High School’s recipient of the DAR good Citizen Award.
This award is given to a graduating senior who exemplifies the characteristics of good citizenship – dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.
Dewey was selected through a nomination process by faculty and staff.
The award is sponsored by the Oneonta Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. A luncheon will be held in May, where Dewey will be recognized and presented with the award. He will also receive a pin and certificate at graduation.
