Students in Richard Townsend’s physics classes traveled to Darien Lake Amusement Park in late May to take part in the annual physics and math day.
Students took measurements and performed various calculations on several of the rides throughout the park.
The day serves as an excellent review of the concepts of conservation of energy, force, momentum, circular and linear motion, and power.
