Sidney senior Anna Egli has been accepted to the Perry Outreach Program.
The application process is highly competitive, according to information about the program. The event is one-day, hands-on experience for high school and college-aged women interested in careers in medicine and engineering.
The event will take place Saturday, May 6 at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY.
Egli and others selected will be performing surgeries and biomechanics experiments and hearing from practicing women surgeons and engineers.
