Dear Parents, Guardians & Caregivers,
We hope you and your child have been having an enjoyable and relaxing summer. We would like to inform you of some changes in dismissal for the 2016-2017 school year. First, we would like to remind you that our new time for dismissal will be 2:25 p.m. Please refer to the enclosed traffic flow maps and the information below for specific details concerning parent drop off, pickup and bus loading zones.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
1.Parent pickup and drop-off locations for students in grades UPK-6 will be in front of the elementary school.
2.Dismissal: All students who are parent pickup will be lined up by grade level along the sidewalk at a designated location. Please drive up to the grade level line (indicated by a sign) and load your child on the passenger side of your vehicle only. If you need to load more than one child from multiple grade levels, please drive to the next appropriate grade level line. Once your child is loaded, please exit the parent pickup line and follow the traffic flow pattern out of the parking lot. Do not park along the parent pickup lane and exit your vehicle as traffic needs to keep moving to allow all parents to pickup their child. If you need to enter the building or wait for your child, please park in one of the many visitor parking spots in the upper lot and enter through the main office.
3.All students who ride the bus will be picked-up and dropped-off in between the elementary school and the Jr/Sr High School. There will not be access to the back lot during the school day.
4.The doors will open at 7:30 a.m. with the instructional day beginning at 8:05 a.m.
Jr./Sr. High School
1.All parent drop off and pick up for the 2016-2017 school will remain the same as last year. The drop off and pick up will be in front of the high school by the cafeteria main entrance.
2.The doors will open at 7:30 a.m. with classes beginning at 7:55 a.m. All students riding buses will load in between the Jr./Sr. High School and Elementary building.
