Sidney elves spread holiday cheer
The Sidney Central School District elves were out spreading holiday cheer again this year.

This past week, the elves visited the Cullman Center in Sidney, and then went to Binghamton to visit The Discovery Center, where they visited with pre-kindergarten and pre-school classes.

The elves have made the trek to Binghamton for three straight years.

Twelve seniors, along with teachers Jon Yurka and Tom Rose made the trip. Dressed as elves in training, the students read stories, did crafts, and played games with the kids.

The students are in the school’s “Single Survival” class, which helps students prepare for things they should know before graduating.
