The Sidney Central School District has named Sean Wood the new UPK-2 principal. He will begin his new position July 1. 

Current Elementary School Principal Rob Hansen will be the grades 3-6 principal.

Wood is currently a middle school principal at Norwich City School District, where he also served as an assistant elementary school principal.

A 2004 Sidney CSD graduate, Wood returns to his alma mater. Before Norwich, Wood was a literacy specialist at Sidney.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Mr. Wood back as he brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, positivity, and Warrior pride” Sidney Superintendent Eben Bullock said. “This addition strengthens our team, especially as class sizes continue to grow at the elementary level.”
