Sidney Elementary art students were honored by having their work published in the Catskill Area School Study Council publication “Kites and Kings.”

Fifth-grader Kamden Fife’s optical illusion piece was selected as the cover for the 2020-21 edition of the magazine. Fifth-grader Ayla Gronwall also had her optical illusion piece featured in the magazine.

Two other students had pieces selected for the inside. Hayden Rockwell’s wolf tessellation and Layla Bhatti’s landscape using digital art were also selected.
