Sidney advanced to the sectional state qualifier, where it won by 150 pins over teams nearly double the size.

Sidney became the first MAC team to qualify for the state tournament.

The team was led by Cole’s 205 average, followed by Mazzarella’s 202. Boice (187), Ostrander (175), Dewey  (163), and Constable (159) were all strong contributors.
