Third annual Sidney Warriors 5K Walk/Run set for October 13

The third annual Sidney Warriors 5K Walk/Run will be held at 2 p.m. October 13. 

The race is a fundraiser for charity and this year will go to three different places, with 60 percent going to the Ronald McDonald House, and 20 percent each going to the Sidney Joshua House, and the Sidney Food Bank. 

Following the 5K, there will be a half-mile color run at approximately 3 p.m. Music, awards, and refreshments will follow the races. 

Registration, which includes a performance t-shirt, is $15. Those who wish to register the day of the race, please arrive by 1 p.m. Those who pre-register should arrive by 1:15.
