Petitions are now available for residents of the Sidney Central School District who wish to be candidates for the Sidney Board of Education election or Library Board election, which will be held May 16, 2023.
Three positions will be open on the Board of Education. The open positions are currently held by Board Members Jason Miller, Amanda Finch, and Marisa Orezzoli. Three positions will be open on the Library Board. The open positions are currently held by Emelinda Gronwall, Nancy Hornung, and Ann Zieno.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, citizens of the United States, and residents of the Sidney Central School District for one year preceding the election.
Petitions are available at the Sidney Central School district office. Petitions must be returned to the school's district office by April 17, 2023. For more information, please contact the district office at 607-561-7700, option 3.
