Midstate Athletic Conference postpones all sports until January 4, 2021
Please see below for an announcement from the Midstate Athletic Conference about all sports being postponed until January 4, 2021.

Midstate Athletic Conference

On Friday, September 11, 2020, the Midstate Athletic Conference (MAC) voted to postpone all interscholastic athletics until January 4, 2021. Upon the start of athletics next January, the MAC will follow the NYSPHSAA schedule for condensed seasons: winter sports, fall sports, then spring sports. With the later start date, we are hopeful that all athletic seasons will be able to be completed in their entirety.  This may also include sectional and state-level play, as allowable, for the respective sports.

While this was a difficult decision, the health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches, and fans was paramount.

The member schools of the MAC understand the important role that athletics plays in the social, emotional, and physical well-being or our student-athletes. The MAC will continue its work to prepare for successful seasons upon the return to competition, including coordination with Section IV, NYSPHSAA, local health departments, and government authorities. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue working together to provide opportunities for our athletes in the safest possible manner.
