Voters approve 2022-23 Sidney CSD budget

Voters in the Sidney Central School District approved the district’s proposed 2022-23 budget of $28,797,209 by a vote of 157-32.

Two seats were up for the Board of Education.Incumbents Corbin Curley (169 votes) and Kerri Green (123 votes) were reelected. Jolene Scott finished third (55 votes).  

“Thank you to the Sidney Central School District community for your continued support of our school and students,” Sidney Superintendent Eben Bullock said. “We appreciate the confidence you put in our district, teachers, and students.” 

Voters also approved a capital reserve fund by a vote of 154-34.

Finally, voters also approved the budget for the Sidney Memorial Public Library, passing it with a vote of 163-26. The board position for the library is pending write-in results.
