Six Sidney CSD student-athletes attend the Section Four Leadership Conference on Tuesday at the Binghamton Forum.
The six Sidney students who attended were (pictured above in order) Josh McNamara, Dylan Easton, Danny Morris, Emma Simmons, Ava Cirigliano, and Camille Bagley.
The event included keynote speaker Bill Clark, a world champion athlete, and Guinness world record holder. Clark spoke about the differences between success and excellence, as well as various paths and courses in life that everybody faces and why choosing wisely determines the outcome.
Students also broke out into groups led by the student-athlete advisory committee and covered the following topics: Captains training, college recruitment, injury prevention, and nutrition.
The students said they enjoyed the opportunity and plan to bring what they learned back to their teams.
