COVID-19 communications:

The Sidney Central School District has set up its communication plan for this school year in regard to COVID-19 cases. The initial contact will be via School Messenger (phone call, email and text alert) to families of students impacted by a quarantine.

Next, the district will send an email and text alerts through the School Messenger system, informing parents of a positive case. For example, a text alert would say “There is a positive COVID case in the third grade. All people impacted have been contacted.”
