Students in Sidney’s college physical education classes recently took a trip to the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown.
The classes are a partnership with SUNY Broome Community College, providing the opportunity for high school students to earn college credit.
The trip was aligned with the school’s physical education curriculum, as well as state and national standards and outcomes. More specifically, it’s an understanding and utilizing community resources and how to be lifelong learners in activities other than team sports.
