Petitions available for Sidney CSD school board and library board
Petitions for those wishing to be candidates for the Sidney Central School District Board of Education or Sidney Library Board are now available.
The petitions are available to residents of the district. The election is on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
Two positions are up for election on the Board of Education. Those two spots are currently held by Kerri G. Green and Kjersti B. VanSlyke-Briggs. One position is up for election for the Library Board, with the seat currently held by Virginia Brandt.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, citizens of the United States and residents of the Sidney Central School District for one year preceding the election.
Petitions are available at the Sidney Central School District Office, and must be returned to the district office by April 22, 2019. For more information, please call 561-7700, option 2.
