This update is about the extended closure, food service plan for the upcoming week, and new instructions for quarter four.
As a reminder, Governor Cuomo has extended all New York State school closures through April 29. That means, at this point, schools would reopen Thursday, April 30. The district will provide more information as it becomes available regarding school closures.
Sidney CSD will continue to provide food service to the school community. This week, once again, we will do a bulk food delivery. The delivery will be on Wednesday, April 15. All food deliveries will be door-to-door for those who have signed up. If you are interested in receiving a bulk food delivery and have not yet signed up, please contact the school at 607-561-7703.
Lastly, you will be receiving a letter in the mail that provides an overview on what new instruction will begin to look like for the fourth quarter. If you have any questions after receiving this letter, please contact your child’s teacher or the building principal.
