Before the start of the school year, the Sidney Central School District held a welcome event for incoming seventh graders.
The students entering seventh grade are changing buildings and this was an event to help them get acclimated to their new surroundings.
During the evening, students and families received an overview of middle school expectations, had a chance to practice opening lockers, and walked the school and met teachers.
