Sidney Jr. SSADD members chalk up the school
Members of Sidney Central School’s Junior SSADD (Sidney Students Against Destructive Decisions) participated in an event called “Chalking up the School” earlier this week.

During the fall and spring, different members of the Junior SSADD group spend time writing positive messages for students to read as they enter the junior/senior high school building.

The club is for students in seventh and eighth grade, giving them a chance to participate in activities that promote positivity and kindness. The club meets once a month to talk about important issues going on in the world, and also about ways to be a positive influence to others.

The next meeting of the club is 2:30 p.m. November 7 in the high school auditorium. Those interested in joining should plan to attend!
