Reading is Magical, a family literacy fair, will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, October 19, at the Sidney Elks Club.
Several community organizations will have representatives reading stories at booths to promote literacy. Sidney Interact students will also be involved, and some Sidney Girl Scouts will also be reading stories.
A magician and local author will also be at the event.
The event, which is sponsored by the United Way, will also offer a free book to the first 100 children (ages birth to 8).
