Voters approve 2020-21 Sidney CSD budget
Voters in the Sidney Central School District approved the district’s proposed 2020-21 school budget of $27,782,464 by a vote of 538-131. 
 
Incumbents Amanda Finch (578 votes) and Marisa Orezzoli (573 votes) were reelected to the Board of Education, as well as newly elected member Jason Miller (580 votes).
 
Voters also approved a capital reserve fund by a vote of 547-113. 
 
Voting was held via absentee balloting and votes were tallied Tuesday, June 16.
 
“Thank you to the Sidney Central School District community for continuing to support the district,” Sidney Superintendent Eben Bullock said. “We are all in this together and I appreciate everybody showing #WarriorPRIDE during this time. This shows the community's commitment to the Sidney Central School District and our focus on our students.”
 
Finally, voters also approved the budget for the Sidney Memorial Public Library, passing it with a vote of 578-89. Susan Ruestow (589 votes) was reelected as a trustee, along with newly elected trustee Patricia Smith (596 votes).
