Several Sidney Central School students are participating in the NYSSMA Zone 8 Area All-State Music Festival this weekend at SUNY Oneonta.
Groups performing include the treble choir, concert band, mixed chorus, and orchestra. A weekend of rehearsing will be capped with a 3 p.m. Saturday performance in the Hunt Student Union.
Sidney is among 50 schools represented over a five-county region. Students are selected to perform based on their previous spring NYSSMA solo scores.

- Mixed chorus: Hannah Gray, Anna Dewey, Makayla Phillips, Lindsay Pierce, Ethan Moodley, Molly Babcock and Kyle Riesen.
