The inaugural Warrior Challenge AAU basketball tournament, which benefited the Wounded Warrior Project, was held March 14-15 at Sidney Central School.
Forty-three teams in six divisions participated in the tournament.
The Sidney TC Tribe program raised and donated $1,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project through sales of water bottles, pins, decals, and t-shirts.
Two Sidney teams also went unbeaten to win their respective divisions. The 9th and 10th grade teams each earned tournament championships and both are currently 11-0 this season.
