Sidney sophomore Connor Decker was named to the Class C All-State Second Team for softball by the New York State Sportswriters and Coaches Organization for Girls Sports (NYSSCOGS).
Decker hit .538 with 26 RBIs, six doubles, two triples and two home runs. She also pitched, going 9-3 with a 1.189 ERA. She struck out 106 and walked just 14.
Sidney went 13-4 this season, reaching the Section Four Class C semifinals before falling to eventual state champion Thomas A. Edison.
