In May, New York State announced that all K-12 schools in the state must enforce a bell-to-bell restriction on internet-enabled devices, such as smartphones and smartwatches, under Education Law 2803. This is effective September 1.
The Sidney Central School District understands this change may be welcomed by some and raise concerns for others.
