Stakeholders wanted for nickname/mascot change

The Sidney Central School District is setting up stakeholder groups to lead the nickname and mascot change for the district. 

Sidney CSD was informed last year that it would not be allowed to use “Warriors” as our nickname anymore. We have taken the steps to remove the nickname throughout the district.

Cullman Cottage to welcome Sidney CSD UPK students

The Cullman Cottage in Sidney, part of the Cullman Child Development Center, will welcome Sidney CSD UPK students for the 2023-24 school year.
 
The renovated cottage had its ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday morning.

The Riders of the Year are selected by each bus driver. The students are then awarded a plaque during a luncheon at the transportation center with their families!
