Community opportunities at Sidney CSD

The Sidney Central School District is excited to provide the community more opportunities for your health and wellness.
 
The district recently started making available the track at Alumni Field for a community walking program. The tennis courts will continue to be accessible, but are part of the proposed capital project for reconstruction. The track and tennis courts are available for use from 5 p.m. until disk, unless there are athletic contests, practices, or other school events taking place.

Students can sign up for any Sidney CSD varsity/JV fall sports offerings beginning July 25. Signups can be done via FamilyID at https://www.familyid.com/organizations/sidney-csd-athletics..

Three winter teams earn scholar-athlete honors

Three Sidney Central School District teams were honored as scholar-athlete teams by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) for the winter sports season. 

 

To be recognized as a team, 75 percent or more of the team members must be at or above 90 percent and the overall team GPA had to be at or above 90 percent.

Students attend Section Four Leadership Conference

Six Sidney CSD student-athletes attend the Section Four Leadership Conference on Tuesday at the Binghamton Forum.


The six Sidney students who attended were Josh McNamara, Dylan Easton, Danny Morris, Emma Simmons, Ava Cirigliano, and Camille Bagley.
