All five of Sidney Central School District teams were honored as scholar-athlete teams by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) for the spring sports season.
To be recognized as a team, 75 percent or more of the team members must average for a total team GPA at or above 90 percent.
The teams recognized were girls track and field (94.9), tennis (91.9), boys track and field (91.3), softball (90.6), baseball (90.3).
Student-athletes pictured are those who were at or above 90 percent, which earns them individual scholar-athlete honors.
The highest GPA on each team is also honored as a MAC scholar athlete.
