The process for the nickname change at the Sidney Central School District is underway!
The initial survey, which allows people to submit ideas for the next nickname, is now open. The survey will require a person's name, email address, as well as the reason and connection to Sidney for submitting the nickname suggestion. The survey link is below, on Facebook, and the Sidney CSD website.

The survey will remain open through Tuesday, October 10. Only one submission per email is allowed.
District officials met with three stakeholder groups on Wednesday -- two student groups, and a community group -- to lay out the process and the timeline.
There were 40 students who represented grades 5-12, and 25 community members who attended Wednesday’s stakeholder meetings.
