Petitions are now available for residents of the Sidney Central School District who wish to be candidates for the SCSD Board of Education, or the Sidney Memorial Public Library Board.

 

The election for each is scheduled for May 18, 2021.

 

Two positions are open for the BOE, and one position will be open for the library board. The open positions on the BOE are currently held by Nancy Parsons and Thomas Hoskins. The library board seat is currently held by Mary Jane Plummer.

 

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, citizens of the United States, and residents of the Sidney Central School District for one year preceding the election.

 

Petitions are available at the Sidney CSD district office. Petitions must be returned to the school’s district office no later than April 19, 2021. For more information, please contact the district office at 607-561-7700, option 2.
