Sidney CSD’s seventh- and eighth-grade students participated in “Mix It Up Day” recently during lunch. 

 

This is a national event that takes place at different school districts across the country. Students were randomly assigned to different lunch tables so that they sat with different students, other than who they normally sit with. 

 

At each table were different ice breaker questions and trivia for the students to play while they are their lunch. This type of event promotes tolerance and inclusion as students were able to interact with different kids.

 

Students had a lot of fun talking to new people and making new friends.
