Fundraiser information

Sidney Central School basketball teams are raising money for diabetes awareness as part of Diabetes Awareness Month.

Currently, varsity team members for the girls and boys teams are collecting pledges for a “Hoop-A-Thon,” where during 10th period team members will shoot 100 foul shots. People can sponsor players for how many free throws they make, or a one-time sum. Please see basketball players to support them. The Hoop-A-Thon is set for Thursday, November 21.

The boys basketball team will play December 3 against Sherburne-Earlville and the school will promote diabetes awareness. There will be two athletic bags to be raffled off, as well as 300 Warrior Hoops for a Cure wrist bands on sale.
