Visual Phonics: phonics that are cued through a sign system!  
 
This give students, especially,
Deaf and Hard of Hearing students 
visual access to the phonics system.  
 
The signs are the sounds that the phoneme makes.  
This includes consonants, vowels, digraphs, blends, etc...
