Cornell Cooperative Extension started a gadening course at Sidney CSD on Wednesday, and it will continue well into the summer. The course is open to families in the Sidney school district. 

 

The classes will run on Wednesdays from 5:30-7 p.m. through June 13, and then every other Wednesday at the same time from June 27-August 8. 

 

There are seven indoor sessions total, followed by five outdoor sessions. Space is limited and Cornell Cooperative is asking people to commit to attend at least seven classes. Registration is required and you can do so by contacting Valerie Dudley at [email protected], or call 607-865-6531. 

 

Participants receive seeds, seedlings, garden space in the Sidney CSD community gardens, nutrition and gardening resources, and recipes.
