Sidney 8th grader recognized at Senators game

Danika Harvey, a Sidney 8th grader was honored this past Saturday during a Binghamton Senators game as the Young Scholar of the Game.

The program, sponsored by Leonard Bus Sales and the Senators, reaches out to local school to recognize one outstanding middle school athlete at each home game.

The winning student receives four tickets to the game courtesy of Leonard, and is recognized on the video board and via the public address announcer during the game.

Sidney's selection was Danika. She was chosen by faculty as an all-around great student who is a hard worker, is polite and respectful, and is a role model to her peers.

Danika is also strong academically and is involved in activities in the school and community.
She is the daughter of Jace and Rebecca Harvey or Sidney Center.
